Greg Joseph, aged 30, initially joined the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2018 after playing at Florida Atlantic University. He signed a three-year contract worth $1.71 million, but was waived following the preseason.

After his release from Miami, the Cleveland Browns signed him to fill an injury vacancy, and Joseph went on to be their starting kicker for the remainder of the season. Over the years, he has had brief tenures with several NFL teams, including the Carolina Panthers, Tennessee Titans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, and Detroit Lions, before finally joining the New York Giants.

Unfortunately for Joseph, he was released by the Giants and subsequently picked up by the Commanders.

In the 2024 season, Joseph appeared in six games for the Giants and one for the Commanders. While playing for New York, he successfully converted 13 out of 16 field goals (81.3% accuracy) and made all six of his extra-point attempts. For the Commanders, he managed to convert two of his three field goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries.
