Blake Lynch, 27, initially signed as an undrafted free agent with the Minnesota Vikings after the 2020 NFL Draft, having played college football at Baylor. He spent his early career swinging between the practice squad and the active roster, eventually being released just before the season began.
Following his time with the Vikings, Lynch joined the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad. Arizona re-signed him to a futures contract in January, but he was released again in May 2023.
In pursuit of new opportunities, Lynch signed with the Los Angeles Chargers for the 2023 season. He had a brief stint with the Seattle Seahawks before returning to the Chargers’ practice squad, where he continued to navigate between the active roster and practice squad. Most recently, he joined the Las Vegas Raiders’ practice squad in October but was released a month later.
In the current 2024 season, Lynch has participated in one game with the Chargers.
