After having his fifth-year option declined by the Falcons, Harris earned a base salary of $1.94 million in 2020. He later signed a one-year, prove-it deal with the Detroit Lions for the 2021 season.
The Lions brought him back on a two-year contract worth $14 million in March 2022. He became an unrestricted free agent this past offseason and joined the Carolina Panthers. However, he was waived a few weeks later and subsequently claimed by the Eagles.
In the 2024 season, Harris participated in nine games for the Panthers, recording 21 tackles and three sacks.
