LaFleur mentioned that Alexander is likely to miss the rest of the season. Despite efforts to play through the injury, Alexander ultimately couldn’t continue.

At 27 years old, Alexander was the 18th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Packers. He was in the final year of a four-year, $12.050 million rookie contract, which included a signing bonus of $6.844 million, before Green Bay exercised his option.

In 2022, Alexander was on track to earn a fully guaranteed base salary of $13.294 million under the fifth-year option prior to signing a four-year extension worth $84 million.

This season, Alexander has played in seven games for the Packers, starting in all of them. He has recorded 16 tackles, one fumble recovery, two interceptions, one defensive touchdown, and seven pass defenses.

Stay tuned for further updates on Alexander’s recovery and status.
