Video: Cam Ward, Travis Hunter, Shedeur Sanders Top Kiper, Field Yates NFL Mock Draft
Miami quarterback Cam Ward was the first player of the board in the latest 2025 NFL mock draft from ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. and Field Yates.
Next, LSU tackle Will Campbell was projected to the New England Patriots before Penn State pass-rusher Abdul Carter went to the Jacksonville Jaguars to round out the top five.
Ward is coming off a strong senior season with the Hurricanes, completing 67.2 percent of his passes for 4,313 yards and 39 touchdowns compared to seven interceptions. The 22-year-old was ranked as the No. 1 quarterback and No. 6 overall player on the latest big board from Bleacher Report’s NFL Scouting Department.
While Will Levis is still under contract in Tennessee, his status atop the depth chart is far from assured heading into 2025 after tossing 13 touchdowns while getting picked off 12 times in 12 starts.
Hunter thrived on both sides of the ball for the Buffaloes in 2024, excelling at wide receiver and cornerback before he won Heisman Trophy honors.
Kiper highlighted his versatility, envisioning him playing at either position in the NFL.
