Shedeur Sanders: ‘I Think’ I’ll Participate in 2025 NFL Combine amid No. 1 Pick Buzz

As one of the early favorites to be the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft, Shedeur Sanders is leaning toward participating in the scouting combine.

It’s a fairly common practice for top prospects not to take part in most—if not all—activities at the combine. Caleb Williams, the top pick in the 2024 draft, didn’t do anything in Indianapolis last year, including medical testing and measurements.

A stellar workout in Indianapolis during the combine could elevate Sanders’ stock as he figures to be in the mix for the top overall pick to the Tennessee Titans.

B/R’s NFL scouting department projected Sanders to the Titans in its most recent mock draft, though his father, Deion Sanders, has said publicly he would intervene to prevent him from playing for certain teams.

Coach Prime didn’t name the specific teams that he would attempt to block from selecting his sons, but it could make for an interesting storyline leading up to the draft.
