Bills Promote Two Players, Featuring S. Lewis Cine
The Buffalo Bills have officially elevated wide receiver Tyrell Shavers and safety Lewis Cine from the practice squad ahead of their Week 17 matchup against the Jets.
Lewis Cine, aged 25, previously played as a two-year starter at the University of Georgia. During his junior year, he was recognized as a third-team All-American and earned second-team All-SEC honors. The Minnesota Vikings selected him with the 32nd overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Cine signed a four-year contract valued at $11,494,150, which included a signing bonus of $5,539,382. His contract also contained a fifth-year option for the team to consider for 2025. Unfortunately, the Vikings waived him during the third year of his contract.
After being released by Minnesota, Cine joined the Buffalo practice squad, where he has made one game appearance in 2024.
