Dolphins Set to Start QB Tyler Huntley in Week 18
According to Ian Rapoport, the Miami Dolphins are set to start quarterback Tyler Huntley once again in Week 18.
Rapoport also mentioned that QB Tua Tagovailoa will continue limited practice but is expected to miss the season finale against the Jets.
Tyler Huntley, aged 26, went undrafted out of the University of Utah in 2020. He initially joined the Baltimore Ravens, where he struggled some but eventually made his debut as a replacement for QB Lamar Jackson.
After being re-signed as a restricted free agent by Baltimore in April 2023, Huntley spent time with the Cleveland Browns as a free agent in 2024. However, he was released before the start of the season and later rejoined the Ravens’ practice squad.
The Dolphins signed Huntley to their active roster, and he has started four games for them in the 2024 season.
Throughout the 2024 season, Huntley has played in four games for the Dolphins, completing 66.3% of his passes for 602 yards, with two touchdowns and one interception.
We will provide updates on the Dolphins’ quarterback situation as more information becomes available.
