Steelers Activate Practice Window for Three Players

The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially designated three players to return from injured reserve: wide receiver Roman Wilson, linebacker Cole Holcomb, and defensive tackle Logan Lee.

This designation opens a three-week window for the players to practice with the team, after which they must be added to the active roster.

Roman Wilson, just 22 years old, was a standout player during his three years at Michigan, receiving second-team All-Big Ten honors in 2023. The Steelers selected him with the 84th pick in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Wilson signed a four-year contract worth $5,708,213, which includes a signing bonus of $971,427, resulting in a $1,037,857 cap hit for the 2024 season.

Throughout his college career, Wilson showcased his talent in 46 games, recording 107 receptions for 1,707 yards (averaging 16.0 yards per catch) and scoring 20 touchdowns.
