Jaguars Exclude LT Walker Little from Remainder of Season
Jaguars left tackle Walker Little has been officially ruled out for the remainder of the season due to an ankle injury, as reported by John Shipley.
Little sustained a high ankle sprain during Week 15 and attempted to play through it in the following game but ultimately had to leave the field.
The Jaguars are expected to place Little on injured reserve in the near future.
At just 25 years old, Little had a successful college career as a three-year starter at Stanford, although he opted out of the 2020 season. Notably, he also faced a season-ending injury during the 2019 season opener.
The Jaguars drafted him in the second round (45th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft. Currently, he is in the final year of a four-year rookie contract valued at $7,621,704, which includes a signing bonus of $2,903,057.
In the 2024 season, Little participated in 15 games, starting in eight of them as the left tackle. According to Pro Football Focus, he ranks as the 31st tackle out of 79 qualifying players in the league.
