In related moves, the Titans have waived offensive tackle Kellen Diesch from their practice squad.

Additionally, Wyatt reported that linebacker David Long Jr. has failed his physical examination, which means he will not be joining the 53-man roster despite being claimed on Wednesday.

Wright, who is 28 years old, went undrafted out of the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 2019. He initially signed a rookie contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers but was released during training camp.

Afterward, he signed a futures deal with the Detroit Lions but was later released. Wright then joined the Jacksonville Jaguars’ practice squad, where he was promoted to the active roster.

Over his career, Wright has played for teams including the Chiefs, Steelers, Panthers, 49ers, and Falcons. He also had a stint with the New England Patriots before returning to the Panthers as an injury replacement for kicker Eddy Pineiro.

This season, Wright had short stints with the Steelers and 49ers before joining the Chiefs. Kansas City waived him in December when kicker Harrison Butker returned from injury.

Throughout his career, Wright has participated in 27 games, converting 51 out of 59 field goal attempts (an impressive 86.4%) and successfully making 40 out of 42 extra point attempts (95.2%).
