Broncos Part Ways with CB Levi Wallace Among Other Roster Changes
According to Mike Klis, the Denver Broncos have decided to release cornerback Levi Wallace today.
The 29-year-old veteran had been filling in for injured teammates this season but struggled to perform at a high level. The Broncos appear ready to explore other options for their secondary.
In a related move, the Broncos have also designated running back Tyler Badie to return from injured reserve, as reported by Tom Pelissero. Additionally, running back Blake Watson has been promoted to the active roster, per head coach Sean Payton via Chris Tomasson.
Wallace, who went undrafted out of Alabama in 2018, first signed with the Buffalo Bills. However, he was waived at the start of the season and then brought back to the practice squad. He rejoined the Bills on two separate one-year contracts before signing a two-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2022.
After concluding his contract with Pittsburgh, Wallace entered free agency, eventually signing with the Broncos during the offseason. In the 2024 season, he played in 13 games and tallied 28 total tackles along with two pass deflections.
