According to Jonathan Jones, the Dallas Cowboys have officially placed wide receiver CeeDee Lamb on injured reserve.

On Saturday, the Cowboys made several additional roster moves:

Lamb had been dealing with a significant shoulder injury, but with Dallas no longer in playoff contention, it was prudent for him to stop pushing through the pain.

Fortunately, Lamb is not anticipated to undergo surgery for his sprained shoulder, giving him ample time to recover and be prepared for organized team activities (OTAs).

The 25-year-old receiver was a standout three-year starter at the University of Oklahoma, earning consensus All-American honors prior to being drafted by the Cowboys as the 17th overall pick in 2020.

Lamb signed a four-year, $14,010,012 rookie contract, which included a signing bonus of $7,749,100. The contract also featured a fifth-year option for the 2024 season valued at $17.991 million, which the Cowboys opted to pick up.

Designated to become an unrestricted free agent in 2025, Lamb recently agreed to a substantial four-year, $136 million contract that commenced at the beginning of the current season.

During the 2024 season, Lamb made 15 appearances and achieved 101 receptions on 152 targets, accumulating 1,159 receiving yards and scoring six touchdowns.
