Eagles Activate TE Dallas Goedert for Return
According to Tom Pelissero, the Philadelphia Eagles have officially designated tight end Dallas Goedert to return from injured reserve after dealing with a knee injury.
Goedert is eyeing a full recovery to contribute significantly during the team’s postseason ambitions.
At 29 years old, Goedert was selected as the Eagles’ second-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. He was in the final year of his four-year contract worth $5,624,271 and was set to earn a base salary of $1.246 million for the 2021 season when he signed a lucrative four-year extension worth $59 million in 2021.
In the current 2024 season, Goedert has participated in nine games, successfully catching 38 of 46 targets for a total of 441 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 11.6 yards per catch.
