Packers

During the Week 15 Sunday Night Football matchup, Green Bay’s second-round linebacker Edgerrin Cooper showcased his exceptional skills with two passes defended, one sack, and an interception. His performance caught the attention of the entire league. Packers defensive end Kingsley Enagbare praised Cooper’s talent and went as far as to label him a potential future Hall of Famer after his outstanding display on the field.

“He’s special, man,” Enagbare stated, as reported by Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. “I definitely feel like he’s a future Hall of Famer. His stat line speaks volumes — he can tackle, intercept, and sack! There’s virtually nothing he can’t do physically. The sky’s the limit for him. He’s destined to be a phenomenal player.”

Green Bay’s head coach Matt LaFleur echoed the sentiments about Cooper, noting that he believes the young player has the potential to reach even greater heights in his career.

“He’s just a hell of a player,” LaFleur remarked. “I think (Hafley) does an excellent job positioning him for success, and it’s exciting to see his development … He’s just scratching the surface of what he can potentially achieve in this league.”

Rams

The Rams are currently leading the NFC West with an 8-6 record, holding the tiebreaker over the Seahawks due to their head-to-head performance. Coach Sean McVay emphasized that their strategy remains unchanged despite their top position, focusing on a day-by-day approach.

“It doesn’t change anything from what we’ve discussed in the past weeks,” McVay stated, according to PFT. “Unless the season ended today, it’s all temporary. We need to continue taking it one day at a time, one moment at a time, and one game at a time.”

McVay commended his team for their ability to overcome adversity while reiterating the importance of not looking too far ahead.

“I believe it’s a testament to our group’s resilience to handle the challenges of the past weeks, but none of it matters if we don’t follow through. Our only focus can be to prepare thoroughly for a formidable opponent who deserves our respect.”

Vikings

Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores is positioning himself as a prime candidate for head coaching roles this offseason. Rookie linebacker Dallas Turner expressed his hope that Flores remains with the Vikings.

“I hope not,” Turner commented, as quoted by Jon Greenberg of The Athletic. “I truly hope he stays here.”

Flores may garner attention from the Bears following their decision to part ways with Matt Eberflus. Linebacker Blake Cashman admitted that he would prefer not to face Chicago if Flores makes the transition there.

“If Flo went to the Bears,” Cashman said. “I don’t think any of us, as Vikings, would want to play against him.”

Vikings cornerback Shaq Griffin expressed a desire to follow Flores to any new team he may join.

“You know what,” Griffin added. “I support my guy in whatever he decides to do to take care of his family. But whatever you do, take me with you!”
