According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Rams Head Coach Sean McVay has effectively dismissed any speculation regarding a potential reunion with wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who was recently released by the Dolphins.

When asked on Wednesday about the possibility of bringing Beckham back, McVay responded, “No, we haven’t talked about it. I love Odell. It’s not something that I think is something that we’re looking at right now.”

After being released by Miami and clearing waivers on Monday, Beckham is now free to sign with any team.

Beckham Jr., age 32, was selected with the No. 12 overall pick by the Giants in the 2014 NFL Draft. He had a base salary of $8,459,000 for the 2018 season before agreeing to a new five-year extension valued at up to $95 million, which included $65 million in guaranteed money.

The Giants traded Beckham to the Browns in 2019 in exchange for the No. 17 overall pick, a second third-round pick, and safety Jabrill Peppers. Following the trade, the Browns restructured his contract but ultimately waived him after the trade deadline in 2021. Beckham signed a one-year deal with the Rams to complete that season but suffered an ACL tear during the Super Bowl victory and missed all of 2022.

Last year, the Ravens signed Beckham to a one-year contract before he became a free agent once again and joined the Dolphins on another one-year, $3 million deal. However, Miami released him in December 2024.

During the 2024 season, Beckham participated in nine games with the Dolphins, catching nine passes for a total of 55 yards but failing to score any touchdowns.
