Rams Make Three Moves, Including Activation of TE Tyler Higbee
The Los Angeles Rams made headlines on Tuesday by announcing three significant roster changes, including the activation of tight end Tyler Higbee from injured reserve.

In addition to Higbee’s activation, the Rams placed linebacker Nick Hampton on injured reserve and signed outside linebacker Rashad Weaver to their practice squad.
Tyler Higbee, who is 31 years old, was drafted by the Rams in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Western Kentucky. Upon joining the team, he signed a four-year rookie contract worth $2.92 million, which included a signing bonus of $580,860.
As he entered the final year of his initial deal, Higbee secured a four-year, $29 million extension with the Rams. His base salary for 2023 was set at $6.25 million when he agreed to another three-year contract extension worth $27 million.
In the 2023 season, Higbee made an impact by participating in 15 games, where he recorded 47 receptions on 70 targets, totaling 495 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
