49ers Add DE Tarron Jackson to Practice Squad
The San Francisco 49ers have officially signed DE Tarron Jackson to their practice squad, according to the latest NFL transaction wire.
Currently, the 49ers’ practice squad consists of the following players:

- LB Tarron Jackson
Tarron Jackson, who is 26 years old, was originally selected by the Philadelphia Eagles as a sixth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He was under a four-year contract worth $3.7 million when the Eagles made the decision to waive him.
After being waived, Jackson was signed back to the Eagles’ practice squad and re-signed on a futures deal for both the 2023 and 2024 seasons. The Carolina Panthers later added him to their practice squad after he was released following training camp in 2024. Throughout the season, he moved between the roster and practice squad, including another stint with the Eagles.
During the 2024 season, Jackson participated in three games with the Panthers but did not record any statistics.
