Seahawks Move RB Kenneth Walker III to Injured Reserve
The Seattle Seahawks have officially placed running back Kenneth Walker III on injured reserve.
In addition, the Seahawks have signed running back George Holani to their active roster from the practice squad. Furthermore, cornerback Artie Burns has been elevated from the practice squad in preparation for Week 17 against the Bears.
Kenneth Walker, 24, was chosen as the No. 41 overall pick in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Currently, he is in the third year of his four-year contract worth $8,441,580, which included a $3,319,331 signing bonus.
Walker is expected to become an unrestricted free agent in 2026.
In the 2024 season, Kenneth Walker has played in 11 games, accumulating 573 rushing yards over 153 carries (3.7 YPC), along with 46 receptions for 299 receiving yards and a total of eight touchdowns.
