Shedeur Sanders is anticipating a call from the New York Giants during the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft this spring.

On Saturday night, ahead of his final game with Colorado at the Alamo Bowl against BYU, Sanders showcased custom Giants cleats.

Earlier this week, Sanders discussed the significance of his cleats with his brother, Shilo Sanders.

“We know where we’re going, baby… We know where we’re going,” Shedeur Sanders stated, referencing his custom cleats.

When Shilo speculated about the possibility of a team trading up, Shedeur responded confidently, “You can’t get higher than one.”

The Giants currently hold the best chance for the No. 1 pick in the upcoming draft.

Following the release of Daniel Jones during his second season of a four-year, $160 million contract, the franchise will be in the market for a new quarterback this offseason.

After the previous setback with the Jones deal, acquiring a new signal-caller on a rookie contract may be more appealing than pursuing a trade or signing a free agent.

In a November podcast episode, Sanders hinted at the possibility of being drafted by the Giants. His father, Deion Sanders, who is also Colorado’s head coach, recently expressed confidence that the Giants would retain the No. 1 pick and select his son.

However, Miami quarterback Cam Ward could also contend to be the first quarterback chosen after ending his college season as a Heisman Trophy finalist.

This Saturday, NFL scouts will have one final opportunity to observe both Sanders and Ward before their college careers conclude. Ward and the Hurricanes are set to face Iowa State in the Pop-Tarts Bowl, while Colorado plays later in the evening.

Both quarterback prospects will keep an eye on the final two weeks of the NFL season to determine how the draft order unfolds.

The Giants have two games left against the Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles. A win in either matchup could give other teams like the Browns, Jaguars, Raiders, Titans, or Patriots a chance at the first pick.
