Drake Maye is making waves, impressing not just the staff at One Patriot Place, but also fans and players alike.

In his most recent outing last Sunday, the rookie quarterback showcased his talent during a competitive match in Buffalo. Against a spirited crowd at Highmark Stadium, Maye completed 22 of 36 pass attempts, amassing 261 yards and throwing two touchdowns, one of which was a spectacular 28-yard connection with Kayshon Boutte.

His performance drew attention from notable players on the opposing team. A mic’d-up video captured a conversation between veteran linebacker Matt Milano and star running back James Cook, where they praised Maye’s skills:

“Drake Maye’s nice with it,” Milano remarked.

“Yeah, he’s nice,” Cook agreed.

This isn’t the last time the Bills will see Maye in action this season. They will face him again on January 5, as Buffalo prepares for their final game before the playoffs against their longstanding rival in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
